The Rundown: Edwin and Jesse continue their investigation as a seemingly simple murder becomes more complicated by the day.

The death of the grandson of a prominent American makes not only headlines, but the authorities in the country nervous as Edwin and Jesse find themselves dealing with complications including a compromised crime scene. As things continue to become increasingly difficult, the duo go over their notes to determine a possible motive while a possible witness receives a dark visitor.
Unable to narrow down a suspect, the pair go to the theater to see a performer who had a relationship with the victim. As they learn more about the victim and tensions in the city continue to grow, their witness meets a gruesome and unexpected end.
The Story: Orlando and Dunning are crafting an intriguing and engaging world in this story. I like the complications both implied and blatant in the investigation and how the characters clash with both their investigative styles and the location. I like that the mystery feels fresh and interesting as things get bigger and more complicated. I cannot wait to see where this story goes next.
The Art: Oliveri delivers some beautiful art throughout the issue. I love the visual style of this series and how the visuals immerse the reader in this world.
